Job Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to ESG metrics and performance
- Conduct in-depth research on sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices
- Prepare comprehensive reports and engaging presentations to communicate findings and actionable recommendations effectively
- Develop and implement sustainability initiatives and strategies to enhance the organization’s overall ESG performance
- Assist in quantifying GHG emissions with specific focus on Scope 3 emissions; Ensure compliance with relevant standards and methodologies
- Support the implementation of compliance strategies, the purchase of CBAM certificates, and reporting of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) for clients.
- Develop a platform for carbon emissions, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of emissions data in alignment with regulatory and industry standards
Job Requirements:
- Degree or above in ESG/Sustainability, Engineering, Computer Science, Environmental Studies, Business Administration or related fields.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in ESG, sustainability consulting or related advisory role. (Outstanding candidates with less working experience may be considered)
- Knowledge of carbon emissions platform development, including experience in tracking and reporting carbon emissions
- Excellent understanding of Scope 3 emissions, GHG Protocol and other external programs and frameworks (e.g., SBTi, PCAF, ISSB, etc.).
- Experience with CBAM regulations and implications for organizational strategy is an advantage
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and standards (e.g., TCFD, CSRD, GRI, HKEX ESG Code) is a plus
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PPT
- Comfortable working with large datasets including advanced functions. Familiarity with VBA or other programming languages for data analysis is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, actively contributing to discussions and projects.
